A Celebration of CRNA's

Happy CRNA week!

The CRNAs The original Anesthesia ExportsPitt Nursing is honored to recognize these incredible healthcare providers and raise awareness of the powerful role they play in ensuring general health and well-being! More than 59,000 CRNA’s practice in the United States. From collaborating for transformative wins in healthcare policy to saving lives and advancing patient care: National CRNA Week, January 22-28, 2023, gives us all the opportunity to recognize these highly educated, experienced advanced practice registered nurses.

The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology has celebrated National CRNA Week since 2000 and we are thrilled to honor the graduates and students of Pitt Nursing’s prestigious Nurse Anesthesia program who use their unique skillset around the world. Our program is one of only a small group of programs that have been ranked in the top ten of the U.S. News and World Report Nurse Anesthesia program rankings since 1998 – the first year that such programs were ranked. You can read what current and former students have to say about their experiences in the program here.

Pitt Nursing is proud of the faculty, students, and alumni of our nurse anesthesia program and the positive impact they are making! To all our CRNAs, we thank you for the lifesaving care you provide and salute you this National CRNA Week!
