Jamie Reddinger
DNP, CPNP-AC / PC, CSN

Profile
Dr. Jamie Reddinger is a faculty member in the Health Promotion and Development Department, with expertise in pediatrics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a minor in Psychology, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1997. In 2002, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pittsburgh, becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Reddinger holds dual certification from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Primary Care and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She also obtained a School Nurse Certification from Slippery Rock University in 2010 and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Capella University in 2023.
Research Areas & Scholarly Emphasis
Dr. Reddinger's research interests center on pediatric pain management.
Teaching
Dr. Reddinger began teaching nursing students in 2020, offering both pediatric didactic courses and clinical instruction.
Service
Dr. Reddinger is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), where she has served as a co-education chair at the local level. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Integrative Health Special Interest Group at the national level.
Clinical Emphasis
Dr. Reddinger’s clinical experience includes working with critically and chronically ill children, school nursing, and perioperative care. Her current clinical practice focuses on the perioperative setting.
