International students are advised to apply by February 15.
Dual DNP/PhD degree applicants should follow the due dates for PhD application.

The Dual DNP/PhD Program admits BSN graduates to the BSN to DNP/PhD track. Applicants for the program must satisfy the requirements for both PhD program and DNP program admission.

The DNP/PhD program follows a Fall Term Only Cohort admissions process. Applicants to the program must submit their completed applications by March 1. Complete applications received by March 1 will be reviewed and admission decisions made prior to June 1. Application decisions will be communicated by email. Applicants must apply online at NursingCAS.

*Please note: NursingCAS will shut down for updates from May 2 to August 14. No one will be able to apply during this time.

Doctor of Philosophy

Applicants interested in a guaranteed Graduate Student Researcher (GSR) or Teaching Fellowship (TF) opportunity should apply no later than February 15. Decision to offer one of these positions to the admitted student will be communicated in late April/early May.

PhD

Applications are due by December 1 for priority consideration, with notification by mid-February. Additional applications received from December 2 to March 1 will be considered if space is available.

Part Time Study

  • Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Specialty Roles admit part-time students only in the Fall Term. Completed application must be received by the deadlines posted above for Fall Term admission (earlier is preferable).
