Alumni Engagement & Donor Relations

Alumni Engagement

Since the establishment of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing in 1939, the school has had over 13,000 graduates impacting healthcare throughout the world.  Alumni of the School of Nursing may be found in all fifty states and 20 countries.  The Office of Student Affairs & Alumni Relations (SAAR) works to create and maintain relationships with all nursing alumni.

Special programs, receptions, and mentoring opportunities are just a part of all the alumni offerings from the School of Nursing and the University of Pittsburgh.  In SAAR, the alumni magazine, Pitt Nurse, is created along with e-newsletters.  These communications materials keep alumni abreast of all the latest happenings within the world of healthcare and their alma mater.

At specific intervals post-graduations, alumni are sent surveys to determine program satisfaction, career progression and other data need for accreditation and program materials.

Help us keep your information up to date by filling out Pitt’s online alumni update form.
