Profile

Dr. Foertsch has worked at the University School of Nursing for over 20 years. She teaches in the Undergraduate BSN program and has worked with both traditional and ABSN students in the classroom, lab and clinical setting. Her primary course for didactic teaching is NUR 1990 - Senior Seminar. The DNP was awarded in the clinical nurse specialist terminal degree. Her clinical expertise is at UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital and in Oncology, Gynecology Surgical Nursing, unit 5800.

Dr. Foertsch has participated with undergraduate students at flu shot clinics.
