Lisa Foertsch
DNP, RN

Profile
Dr. Foertsch has worked at the University School of Nursing for over 20 years. She teaches in the Undergraduate BSN program and has worked with both traditional and ABSN students in the classroom, lab and clinical setting. Her primary course for didactic teaching is NUR 1990 - Senior Seminar. The DNP was awarded in the clinical nurse specialist terminal degree. Her clinical expertise is at UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital and in Oncology, Gynecology Surgical Nursing, unit 5800.

Dr. Foertsch is the primary instructor for NUR1990-Senior Seminar, Clinical NUR 0092 Nursing Management of Adult with Acute/Chronic Health Problems, Lab-NUR 0081 Foundations of Nursing Practice 2, NUR 1135 Transition into Professional Nursing.
Service
Dr. Foertsch has participated with undergraduate students at flu shot clinics.
