(NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grants (T32)

The purpose of the T32 Institutional Research Training Grants is “to provide predoctoral and postdoctoral research training opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing research careers in biomedical, behavioral and clinical research.”  These grants are awarded to institutions to train researchers “to assume leadership roles related to the Nation’s biomedical, behavioral and clinical research agenda.” http://grants.nih.gov/training/T_Table.htm

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is unique among schools of nursing in the United States because it has two T32 grants. These grants provide an extraordinary opportunity for support for nurses interested in predoctoral and postdoctoral research training in cancer survivorship, genomics and technology.
