Rebecca McClelland

Profile
Dr. McClelland has been a nurse for 28 years. She has worked in the area of oncology for a majority of her career in a variety of spaces, from the hospital to clinic to home care.
Research & Scholarly Emphasis
Dr. McClelland is in the beginning stages of research, emphasizing scholarly work surrounding women's health and women's cancers such as breast, ovarian and cervical cancers.
Teaching
Dr. McClelland teaches clinical courses at UPMC Shadyside on the Stem Cell Transplant Unit.
Service
Dr. McClelland is the Director at Large with the local chapter of the Oncology of Nursing Society. She has been involved with the Oncology Nursing Society for 25 years in Pittsburgh and previously at the Lowcountry of South Carolina chapter. She is a certified CPR instructor. Dr. McClelland also created a program for women with cancer that teaches them how to care for themselves with prevention, wellness and skin care that has been offered at Cancer Bridges in Pittsburgh.
