Profile

Dr. Luczkow graduated from the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care DNP Program at the University of Pittsburgh in August 2022. She obtained her first Bachelor's degree is in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Allegheny College in 2015 and graduated from the Pitt ABSN program in 2017. She worked as an RN at UPMC Shadyside on a Medical-Surgical floor for almost five-and-a-half years and worked as a clinical instructor while in graduate school. She has been teaching for Pitt since graduating from the DNP program and has been assisting with courses including Community Clinical, the DNP Practicum, Advanced Management of Complex Geriatrics Health Issues, and the Gerontology Clinical Practicum. She has been working as an NP for Personal Care Medical Associates since 2023 in long-term care facilities. She started working in Palliative Medicine about a year-and-a-half ago where she assists with end-of-life care, goals of care conversations, and pain and symptom management for residents of long-term care facilities. Her hobbies include reading, running, yoga, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Clinical Emphasis

Dr Luczkow's clinical focus is in Palliative Medicine and Geriatrics.

Teaching

Dr. Luczkow instructs Community Clinical, DNP Practicum, Advanced Management of Complex Geriatric Health Issues, and Gerontology Clinical Practicum.
