School of Nursing Introduces 2015 Scholarship Recipients

The annual Scholarship and Awards luncheon offers the School a chance to introduce and congratulate the 2015-16 student scholarship recipients, as well as to recognize donors to the scholarship funds. For the 2015-16 year, 130 graduate and undergraduate students received support from one of the School’s 64 scholarship and research funds! At the luncheon, Assistant Dean Julius Kitutu announced that the school had two new funds, the Bruno & Georgianna Feo Nursing Scholarship Award and the Shirley Boatman Jennewine Scholarship Fund. Dr. Kitutu then went on to introduce this year’s recipients of the School’s research, undergraduate, and graduate awards. Each year, the School invites the donors and/or representatives to the luncheon so that they can meet the current recipients, truly getting to see how their support is making a difference in the lives of students. The School of Nursing extends its gratitude to the donors and offers congratulations to the scholarship and award recipients!
