A new club at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is receiving attention from the Pittsburgh media.
KDKA-TV recently sat down with the founders of the Men in Nursing Club to talk about its efforts to network, mentor, socialize and recruit male nursing students.
"I'm very impressed because it removes the stigma from males, that nursing is also a profession for men and you can advance professionally in the line of being a nurse," Dr. Julius Kitutu, associate dean for student affairs and alumni relations told KDKA-TV.
