The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing helped kick off 102.5 WDVE’s 16th annual fundraising campaign for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
DVE Rocks Children’s Radiothon began September 13th with a Nurses Rock Power Hour sponsored by Pitt Nursing. Professor and Health Promotion and Development Department Chair Dr. Denise Charron-Prochownik was a featured speaker during the hour, sharing details with WDVE Radio Host Michele Michaels about the school’s important partnership with UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Charron-Prochownik also presented the hospital with a $1,000 donation on behalf of the school.
