Thanks to all who contributed to the School of Nursing’s “Give a Thread” Campaign. Amazingly, the school collected 5,620 items of clothing, easily surpassing the original goal of donating 2,000 pieces to the University-wide effort. Clothing collected went to Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Thriftsburgh, Dress for Success Pittsburgh, and the University’s career office (to provide students with apparel appropriate for interview situations.) Here at the School of Nursing, the campaign to collect gently-worn clothing was spearheaded by two dedicated staff members who are pictured to the left: Jennifer Fellows (left), Director, and Amy Elliott, Office Coordinator, of the Office of Advancement & External Relations. Thanks to their hard work, and the generosity of many of the Pitt Nursing community, the 2015 Give a Thread campaign was a success!
