Thank you to all the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing community members, alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends who made the 8th annual Pitt Day of Giving a success.
The School of Nursing had a phenomenal 2024 PDoG, topping the “School & College Raise the Bar Leaderboard” and “School & College Level Up Leaderboard,” earning the school extra money. In total, 248 unique donors, a 103% increase over 2023, helped Pitt Nursing raise $135,512.
Donors had multiple funds to support, including the Nursing Student Uniform Fund, Student Lab Coats, School of Nursing Scholarship Fund, Nursing General Research, Nurse Anesthesia Ultrasound Education, Nurse Anesthesia Student Travel, Laboratory Skills Kits, Student International Travel Fund, and Nursing Continuing Education Fund. Donors could also contribute to the School of Nursing Unrestricted Support. 68 donors raised nearly $10,000 in that fund alone.
