Dr. Elizabeth LaRue Earns Prestigious Fulbright Award

School of Nursing assistant professor Dr. Elizabeth LaRue, PhD, AHIP, was selected for a Fulbright Award to University of Malawi Kamuzu College of Nursing. Dr. LaRue is the Coordinator for the Nursing Informatics concentration in the MSN program.

More than 300,000 individuals have received this prestigious award. Many have won Nobel Prizes and become heads of state; others have been leaders at the world’s top universities. Dr. LaRue will create and teach introductory nursing informatics courses and seminars and develop new tele-conferencing informatics curricula to train nursing and midwifery students in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.
