Dean's Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Announced

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is proud to honor three faculty members with the 2023 Dean’s Distinguished Teaching Award.

Congratulations to:

Appointment stream: Paul Wesley Scott, PhD, assistant professor, Department of Health & Community Systems

Tenure: Paula Sherwood, PhD, RN, CNRN, FAAN, professor, Department of Acute & Tertiary Care

Tenure: Jamie Zelazny, PhD, MPH, RN, assistant professor, Department of Health & Community Systems

“We hold teaching excellence in high regard, and it brings us immense joy to uncover the remarkable efforts undertaken by our faculty members, like these three exemplary individuals, and honor their contributions through the prestigious Distinguished Teaching Award,” said Christine E.
