School of Nursing students from all academics levels – bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and certificate programs – who applied for graduation this summer are invited to attend this reception.
Students will also be invited to attend the formal School of Nursing Commencement Ceremony at Soldiers and Sailors and the University-wide Commencement Ceremony in December.
Summer Nursing Reception FAQs
Graduates should wear business attire. Regalia will not be worn.
Due to limited space, each student may bring only 3 guests.
There is an accessible entrance into the building on the Thackary Avenue side with a ramp and automatic doors.
All surrounding parking facilities are operated solely by the Pitt Parking Office.
- The nearest parking option is the Soldiers & Sailors Garage located at 4101 Fifth Avenue.
- Street parking is available on either side of the University Club on University Place and Thackary Avenue.
