Palliative and End-of-Life Care Certificate

The Palliative and End-of-Life Care and Communication Post-Baccalaureate Certificate is designed for clinicians or clinician leaders in the health sciences (Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, and Social Work) who are seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in the areas of palliative and end-of-life care as well as communication with patients, families, and colleagues.

The curriculum provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to provide whole-person patient- and family-centered care for individuals with serious illness across the illness trajectory and at end-of-life. This 12-credit program consists of four courses, all of which can be taken remotely.
