UPMC Clinical Modules
Students participating in clinical experiences are required to complete UPMC Modules each fall. All students must have all modules completed, screenshots uploaded to Exxat, and approved before clinical activities begin.
Clinical activities begin the very first day of each term. You will not be permitted to attend clinical if the modules are not completed and uploaded to Exxat. Each module must be done each fall semester regardless of when the previous year’s modules were completed. If you are a UPMC employee, you must complete these modules as a student using your Pitt email. You will have to complete them under your student account, even if you have already done so as an employee.
For the School of Nursing to confirm you have completed the modules, students must follow the instructions below:
-
Step 1 – Screenshot the Completion Tracking form.
After you complete a test associated with the module, you will have an opportunity to click to access the completion tracking form. The tracking form will have the name of the module you completed. You should place your name on the completion tracking form and take a screenshot of the tracking form with your name visible on the form.
-
Step 2 – Once all required modules have been completed, upload the screenshots of the Completion Tracking forms to Exxat.
Additionally, you should maintain copies of your screenshots for your records in your personal file should you need to provide these to the clinical site.
