Men In Nursing Club
The Men In Nursing Club (MINC), founded in 2023, is a student-led organization at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing dedicated to mentorship, professional development, leadership, and diversity within nursing.
While the organization was established to support and increase the representation of men in nursing, membership is open to all students who support the club’s mission and values, regardless of gender.
MINC provides opportunities for students at all stages of their academic journey to connect, network, and grow within a supportive community. Through mentorship, recruitment outreach, guest speakers, panel discussions, and engagement with nursing professionals across a variety of specialties, members gain insight into the profession while developing personally and professionally.
The organization also promotes student wellness, community involvement, and meaningful conversations surrounding healthcare and inclusion. Faculty mentors and healthcare professionals work alongside student leadership to provide guidance, encouragement, and professional mentorship for all members.
