Na-Jin Park, PhD, MSN, BSN
Biography
Dr. Park’s research focus involves understanding biobehavioral interactions on cancer risk and cancer-related health outcomes in women. She is particularly interested in long-term effects of adjuvant therapy on comorbid conditions in women`s cancer survivors. Dr. Park is currently an NIH K12 Clinical Research Scholar through the Clinical Translational Science Institute. She is working on examining the roles of inflammatory biomarkers and genetics in adjuvant therapy-induced cardiovascular risk in breast cancer survivors.
Teaching
Dr. Park has taught various courses in undergraduate and graduate levels, including advanced pathophysiology and biobehavioral research and currently teach NUR1127/1227, Community Health Nursing Clinical Practice for RN-BSN/2nd degree students.
Service
Dr. Park served as a member of the Southern Nursing Research Society from 2005-2011, an Editorial board member for the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing from 2012-2013, and is a current member of the Oncology Nursing Society since 2012.
