Class Rank

POLICY:

Class rank will be determined for each Traditional Prelicensure student upon completion of the academic program. Rank is based upon the cumulative GPA achieved for all University of Pittsburgh coursework counted toward the Nursing degree.

PROCEDURE:

Upon receipt of the appropriate final grade report, the Center for Student Success ranks the "class." The class consists of those who graduated in December, April, or August of each academic year. Students who complete the Accelerated 2nd Degree Program are included when determining the number of graduates but are not included in the ranking.
