Academic Policies and Procedures for the Undergraduate Program
Statute of Limitations
POLICY:
Undergraduate students must fulfill the requirements for the baccalaureate degree within a period of ten (10) years. After the ten year period, for any student who wishes to continue toward this degree, evaluation of credits and content will be made in terms of the curriculum required at that point in time. In order to meet the requirements for the degree, it is possible that additional courses may have to be taken beyond those required in the original curricular plan.
PROCEDURE:
- Evaluation of credits will be done by the Center for Student Success and evaluation of content of courses will be done by the Director of Advising for the Center for Student Success or designee.
- Extensions of the statute of limitations must be approved by the Director of Advising of the Center for Student Success and go to the Dean for final action.
