Profile
My research interests include smoking cessation during pregnancy and relapse-prevention in young women. Currently, I am interested in utilizing doulas to provide a smoking relapse prevention intervention during postpartum. I am also interested in tobacco related health disparities.
Teaching
I teach undergraduate students NUR 1050/NUR 1052- Nursing Care of Mothers, Newborns and Families.
Service
I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Eta Chapter, and work on the 24 hour hotline for Pittsburgh Action Against Rape. I also participate in the Infant Mortality Working Group for the Center for Minority Health at the Graduate of Public Health.
