As the HSIT Department Administrator and Coordinator, Elizabeth manages the department budget and purchases the supplies for the HSIT, School of Nursing computer software, teaching software, and computers/peripherals.

Alex Hoeffler
HSIT Client Services Lead
Alex is the HSIT Director for the School of Nursing. Alex manages personal computer needs of faculty and staff, the computer labs, the skills and simulation labs, the anatomy and physiology lab and classrooms. Alex is also responsible for supervising HSIT support staff, installing, maintaining and repairing the school’s computers as well as overseeing the Distance Education program, audiovisual and recording studio. Alex is also responsible for maintaining the servers located within the building. These include the Rees server that monitors all Sub-Zero refrigerators, the helpdesk server, and the B-Line server that is used for simulation. Alex is also proficient in troubleshooting all simulation software and assists in troubleshooting all computer testing, including Exam Soft for nursing’s Anesthesia students. Alex is also the liaison between the school and the servers housed at the Network Operation Center in RIDC Park.

Mohammed Hajjaj, BSIS
Systems Support Analyst
Mohammed is responsible for the upkeep of all classroom computers, all skills lab computers, and all computer lab computers. He also assists the other analysts with the more than 400 computer help tickets per month that the HSIT receives.

Larry Zajdel
Audio Visual Specialist - Part-time evening
Responsible for audio and visual equipment maintenance and deployment and inventory of media including videos, DVDs, and classroom software. Coordinates classroom and equipment reservations and scheduling with the Office of the Registrar.
