The Allegheny County Immunization Coalition invites you to participate in the 16th Annual Conference where a stellar group of experts will gather to address influenza, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), COVID-19 response and vaccine development. The conference will be a virtual format held on Thursday, November 4th, 2021.  Please join your colleagues in addressing these important, timely issues facing our communities we serve.

Who Should Attend? 

Healthcare providers in hospital systems, primary care, and community health, and public health settings are invited to participate in learning more about immunization topics that are relevant today. 

Cost

Physicians/Physician Assistants ($50), Registered Nurses/LPN ($25), Students & Non-Licensure Colleagues ($15)

Continuing Education

Allegheny County Immunization Coalition (ACIC) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing are collaborating to provide nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours for the educational activity: 16th Annual ACIC Immunization Update. Nurses completing the entire activity and evaluation tool may be awarded a maximum of 4.5 contact hours of NCPD.  The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission Accreditation. 

In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.  The University of Pittsburgh designates enduring material activity for a maximum of 4.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

A call for abstracts is now open. Click HERE to submit an ABSTRACT.  

 A call for abstracts for quantitative or qualitative research projects; or quality improvement activities related to vaccine development, administration, side-effects, immunization practices, immunity, compliance, ethical implications, or education strategies are currently being welcomed.

*All accepted poster presenters must be registered to attend the conference.
