University of Pittsburgh – Financial Aid Office

The University of Pittsburgh - Financial Aid Office staff will assist students and families with the process of applying for and receiving financial aid. The experienced staff is available during office hours to respond to your financial aid questions and requests. No appointments are necessary. Students and families are assisted in the office on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

School of Nursing Scholarships for Undergraduate Students

The University of Pittsburgh – School of Nursing is fortunate to have many endowed funds that provide financial support for undergraduate nursing students. The specificity of the funds varies greatly.  Some funds support academic standing or leadership qualities, while others support diversity or financial need.  As you complete the Undergraduate Student Scholarship Application, the more information you provide will enable the committee to consider you for a broad range of awards.  Thank you and good luck!

If you are interested in applying, please complete and submit the application form via email to, April Bruce at brucea@pitt.edu, or drop off the application to the address provided on the application.  You will only need to submit one application.  Additionally, all applicants will receive notification via email at the end of July.  Each student winning a scholarship through the School of Nursing will be recognized at the Nursing Convocation held at the beginning of each fall term.

Due Dates:

• NEW STUDENTS will submit your scholarship application and additional material before or on June 1.
• CURRENT STUDENTS will submit your scholarship application and additional materials before or on March 15.
