ResearchMy research focuses on the impact of sleep disorders on health outcomes and treatment management in chronic disorders. I currently have an NIH Mentored Career Development Award (K23) in which I will be developing and testing a motivational intervention that includes significant others aimed at improving adherence to continuous positive airway pressure therapy (CPAP) in those with sleep apnea.
TeachingI have taught NUR2000 Research for Evidence Based Practice I.
ServiceI am a member of the Sleep Research Society, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Society of Behavioral Medicine, and American Psychological Association.
