The CDC reported that a total of 9,421 TB cases were reported in the U.S. in 2014. Join local and national experts in an exploration of current treatment regimens for active tuberculosis. They will discuss common complications which may occur during TB therapy and outline the process to enroll a TB patient the Migrant Clinicians Network program. “Tuberculosis: Think Globally and Act Locally” will be the theme of an address by Edward L. Zuroweste, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Zuroweste is also the Chief Medical Officer for the Migrant Clinicians Network.

Nurses attending the entire conference and completing the evaluation tool will be awarded 3.0 continuing nursing education contact hours.
