The Department of Health and Community Systems includes faculty who have expertise in both in-patient and community settings. This department provides courses in nursing care of older adults, psychiatric-mental health nursing, and community health nursing in the undergraduate program, as well as oversees the RN Options and Accelerated 2nd Degree Tracks in the BSN program. Additionally, this department includes several master’s program advanced specialty role areas of concentration and the master’s and DNP area of concentration in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
