Meet the CICL Staff
Scott Coulson
Associate Director
As the Associate Director for the Center for Innovation in Clinical Learning, Scott is responsible for the day-to-day operations. This involves working with students, faculty and staff of the School of Nursing regarding labs, classroom equipment and distance learning capabilities. In addition, Scott serves as part of the administration team making strategic decisions regarding computing services, new learning resources, technology, and instruction design needs.

Joe Brun
Manager of Distance Education
Joe is responsible for coordinating 30+ hours a week of video transmissions to various locations including the branch campuses of Johnstown, Bradford, and beyond. Joe is also the computer lab manager and provides hardware and software support to 300+ computers and printers. Joe is the email and alias adminstrator.

Gillan Borum
Media Services Coordinator
Gillan is involved in the coordination of various educational media in the School of Nursing, including the initiation and maintaining of distance education/ITV broadcasts in the evening, Power Point poster creation, and Skills/Simulation Lab upkeep. He is also an active part of the IT team in the CICL. Gill graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006, and has worked in the School of Nursing since 2005.

Nam Do
Audio Visual Specialist
Nam is responsible for audio and visual equipment maintenance and deployment and inventory of media including videos, DVDs, and classroom software. Nam also coordinates classroom and equipment reservations and scheduling with the Office of the Registrar.

Ric Fera
Systems Analyst
Ric is the Web Developer and Graphic Designer for the School of Nursing. As a Systems Analyst in the CICL, Ric designs and develops the school's Web site. Ric is also a Blackberry Administrator and PC Technician. As a PC Technician Ric works to support the School of Nursing's IT needs. In addition, Ric provides support to the Distance Education program, transmitting iTV calls daily.

Carol Hodgkiss
Department Administrator
As the CICL Department Administrator and Assistant to the Associate Director, Carol manages the department budget and purchases materials for the CICL, i.e. HESI testing, computers/peripherals, CAI software, clinical supplies, and teaching software for curriculum.

Andy Marino
Systems Anaylst
Andrew is the Systems Support Specialist for the School of Nursing. Andrew is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing the school’s computers as well as providing support to the Distance Education program. Andrew began working in the School of Nursing in August of 2008.

Jim Obringer
