RN Options Application/Admission

Application Guidelines

  • Graduate from a ACEN (NLN), ACICS, or CCNE accredited associate degree nursing program or diploma school of nursing
  • ≥ 3.0 GPA in associate’s degree in nursing or nursing diploma from ACEN (NLN), ACICS, or CCNE accredited program
  • GRE: Required for RN-DNP and RN-MSN programs; minimum percentile scores vary per selected graduate program
  • Successful completion of all prerequisite courses (see below)
  • Clinical experience: varies per selected graduate program
  • Valid registered nurse license (All students must obtain a Pennsylvania license)
  • Complete RN Options online application

Additional Information

  • Students may begin coursework in any term (fall/spring/summer)
  • Full and part time schedules are available
  • Application deadlines are May 1 (Fall Term), December 1 (Spring Term), and April 1 (Summer Term)
  • Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
  • Up to 60 credits (of the total 68 prerequisite credits) may be transferred from a 2-year institution; the remaining 10 prerequisite credits may be transferred from a 4-year institution
  • Applicants submit one online application for admission to the BSN Program and simultaneous conditional admission to the preferred graduate program. Applicants must meet admission criteria for the BSN and selected graduate program
