Scholarship Information
Overview
Today, nurses have more opportunities available to them than ever before. In the rapidly changing world of health care, nurses are practicing as clinicians, researchers, educators, administrators, information specialists, and much more. To succeed in this highly competitive environment, nurses must possess the knowledge to practice effectively. The Cameos of Caring Program & Awards Gala, is proud to offer an endowed scholarship to support the educational advancement of registered nurses. Each year, proceeds from the Gala are directed to the Cameos of Caring Endowed Nursing Scholarship, enabling the dissemination of scholarship awards. Recipients may direct this monetary award toward coursework in a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral-level program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing ( Oakland campus only).
