Continuing Education

Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing Continuing Education Website. Our continuing education programs are designed to meet the educational needs of nurses (advanced practice, nurse/health educators and nurse administrators) by providing innovative, creative, and timely topics. We also co-provide Continuing Education Activities with various groups and are involved in planning, developing, and implementing these educational activities.

We offer both on-site and on-line programs. To view these options, click on the on-site or on-line icon on the sidebar to your left. A new page will appear showing the program offerings. Click on an individual program to learn more about each offering. When you are ready to enroll in a program, follow the simple directions that appear on your screen.

*As a result of a special agreement between UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, UPMC nurses will receive a 50% discount on the cost of live and online continuing nursing education activities.  UPMC nurses must register for learning activities at University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing Continuing Education website, providing their UPMC employee number for verification.  Nurses must successfully complete all the requirements of the learning activity to receive contact hours.
