Annual Nursing Horizons Conference
Overview
Evidence-based practice is an approach that enables nurses to implement the best care that meets the needs of their patients, families and communities. This conference showcases the best practices in interdisciplinary communication employed by nurses and health care professionals. The target audience is nurse clinicians, educators and managers in clinical and academic settings. The conference objectives are to:
- Discuss best practices in interprofessional practice and communication applied in the nursing care of patients and families,
- Outline methods to incorporate best practices in interprofessional practice and communication in health care settings.
Continuing Education Credits
6.0 contact hours of continuing nursing education will be granted by the University Pittsburgh School of Nursing.
